hi i put some roms on my sd card and now its stuck there saying like error and stuff and i cannot format it either it says windows cannot complete the format. so basically i have a sd card that is stuck with all these gba roms that i cannot delete or even use. my comp freezes a bit when i try to delete the stuff and it cannot be deleted. does anybody know how i can delete the stuff on the sd card or format sd card. i cannot format it for some reason    thanks in advance

got some bad news for ya then m8t.. sounds like the controller chip is broken .. my Kingston 2Gb Ultimate also broke in the same way.. not sure if it's the SCSD that breaks em tho .. hope not.. anyway only thing u can do i send it back.. as there's NOTHING you can do .. i tryed it all .. i do mean everything..!!

dang dude this sucks. i bought offa ebay for  18 dollars no wonder it was cheap! lol (sandisk 512mb). well actually it worked when i put mp3s on it but then i deleted the mp3s and tried the gba games and it workd and i put more games and then they were freezing and now i cant even get the stuff off the sd card.

I've just had a 1gb CF sandisk fail/suddenly stopped working.  I sent it back to Sandisk UK and they couldn't recover anything off it, so they sent me a new one.  He said it would go back to the US where they would take out the good bits for recycling!!! I wonder who gets these 'secondhand' bits??  This is not the first thread re Sandisk cards failing - I wonder if there is a bad batch going around or just bad luck.

Another thing to try would be to see if you can format the card in another device e.g. a different card reader or even a digital camera. I've had lots of problems in the past with crappy card readers that behave and misbehave at random.

I bought a 2GB SD card recently which my old card reader simply refused to access. Bought a brand new Belkin card reader and all was well.

when i use my card reader my comp does not have hi speed usb port or whatever it is so its really slow so i thought that was the problem. but then i put the sd card in my mp3 player and i also could not delete the stuff off the card. =\

You didnt happen to accidently switch the lock on the side of the card to write protect it did you? Make sure the sD card isnt locked and if it isn't try flicking the switch around and then try to delete/format it.

oh i guess i have to buy it. does the download version work? like does it format and repair the sd card with the 14 day trial?

i tried the trial version and got connected and it shows me like COM1 and com2 and when i hit next it does the same thing again

it says my infraed port is not installed, does anybody know how to install a infrared port?
