I have used rain rel 12, it's start, i see the menu, i choose to save into the supercard but rain write erron and cannot save. Anyone can help me?
Many thanks and excuse me for my english

i havent tried it using the superpass so i dont kno how it works that way, my suggestion to you is flash your ds first and then use rain to extract the sav, i dunno if that will solve your problem but it worked fine for me

First you would place the Superpass with DS game and Supercard in the DS. Run Rain and it will ask you to remove the Suprerpass. Just pop it out and place the DS game in the DS slot. Run the backup and it will make a .SAV file you can rename to match the ROM name and overwrite the save made by the Supercard Converting software. You should be all set then.

It's a tool to read/write/backup EEPROM (game saves) on a real DS game cart.

I can't seem to backup or restore my files..I'll choose backup and it'll tell me the name of the file, but the file doesn't seem to exist on the CF card.  And when I try putting a save back on the actual cart it just sits at the

TYPE=2  SIZE=8192byte id=

part.  Ideas?  I'm using R13.  Should I be using an older one?

Are you using a 64Kb game cart? I just want to make sure you understand the game ROM save size must match the the game cart save size.

I haven't used Rain since back when supercard didn't save to SD, so my version is definitely old.  (I'm at work so I can't check what version I have)

I did find this about Rain version R14 . . .

Supporting M3-SD.
Being hard it is not supported, it tried to make message.
WORKING: GBAMP (CF), M3-SD.
UNTESTED: M3-CF, SC-SD and SC-CF.
DOESN'T WORK: MK2/MK3.

. . . so maybe try a different version.

I'll try to sort this out when I get home this evening if someone else hasn't already answered.

I'm still using R13 and it seems that it was working for me when I was at firmware 1.6.  I just updated to 1.61 and R13 has the same problem as mentioned earlier.  It says the name of the backup file, but it never backs up.  It just sits there.  I'll try R14 to see if that fixes this.

OK, now I don't know what is wrong.  Now with both R13 and R14 on either 1.6 or 1.61 firmware, RAIN won't backup my save!  It still gets stuck showing me the name of what the save file will be with the time stamp.  Ack.  I didn't do anything different.

The newest version of Rain r14 doesn't seem to work with my SCSD. It doesn't create the sav file.

The old version I have still works.  The name of the zip is RAIN_0.5_with_SCSD.zip.  There must be a newer build for SCSD but I can't find the download link.

You could try Cory1492's ETool as an alternative backup method . . .
