I just found out that one of the small gaming shop near my area is selling DS lite (all 3 colours) for approximately USD 247.356.

Since the lite is still a hot-selling item, shall I buy it now or wait for the price to drop? USD 250 is kind of expensive, considering that the PSP costs roughly the same amount of money here

I haven't really shopped around though to find the cheapest price elsewhere ... Btw, I live in Singapore.

Up to you really. I mean if you MUST have it now then get it, but at that price you could buy 2 when they launch everywhere else and most people think that will be in may. I have seen them for between $200 and $350 on the net. Not worth it to me, I can wait about a month.

hey dude.. i'm from singapore too.  I went ahead and imported a lite from japan for about the same price.. probably the price won't drop in singapore for a few months i'm thinking.  As long as they can get away with making people pay a lot, they will keep doing it...

unless after may, when the lite is officially launched in USA, someone starts parallel importing them, and selling lower than the japanese imports, then it will force the cost down..

Staying in Tampines, saw it at the shop near the mrt, GameBox or something i think. Well, holding on for a few more months then ....
