No love for the thumb strap

WTF is up with DS accessory manufacturers?  They make all sorts of useless accessories, yet all of their products refuse to acknowledge the existence of the thumb strap.  I just bought a neoprene DS case today, and it won't fit unless you remove the strap!

Furthermore, in my quest to find an improved thumb strap for MPH, I found that the only upgraded strap was made by Madcatz a while back and they don't even make them anymore.

First of all i think this thumb strap is VERY VERY USELESS. I don't know you guys but I can't reach the left parts of the screen with that thing, maybe my thumb isn't long enough or something..

I'm using an Intec leather case and it fits nicely with both strap and supercard  8)  Before buying a product, check if it's confirmed by Nintendo(I don't know if cases have this kind of confirmation but styluses have)

The case I bought has the official Nintendo seal.   :|

Actually I like the idea of the thumb strap, but unfortunally I've got short fingers and I can hardly reach for the right side of the screen with it.
However, for what I've seen in pictures, the DS Lite is a bit smaller, and there is actually a smaller distance from the center of the touch screen to the edge of the system, therefore I am confident that even i , will able to play Mteroid Prime with the thumb strap, too bad that nintendo does not include one with the lite now that it might become actually usefull, but then i already have one and I will keep it.
Another reason to get a Lite ASAP....

I can play metroid with the stylus very well, I can actually play all the games very well with stylus so I use the strap only for carrying my DS

I need the thumbstrap for FPS games.
Absolutely perfect for that :)

It would be cool if they made a thumb ring that was strapless or how about one of those cheap plastic rings out of the 25 cent machines at the store. 8)
