FlashMe Issue

I know I've been dormant on the forum for a while, but recently I've been having issues with my SC CF...

...mostly, nowadays, and I can't recall when this really started (unfortunately) I no longer have to hold A+B+X+Y in order for my FlashMe'd DS to boot off of my SuperCard CF.
This is an issue with me. I have several legitimate cartridges I enjoy playing and I find it a hassle to have to pull out my SuperCard in order to boot to the regular NDS menu and start up one of my carts.

I've looked around on the FlashMe site, and it appears that FlashMe still requires you to hold A+B+X+Y unless gamecode "PASS" or title "DSBooter" on the GBA cartridge.

Has the SuperCard firmware recently been updated with this information such that I now have to pull my SuperCard out in order to boot to the regular NDS menu?
Or is there just some information I cannot see on my CF card by chance that a format should get rid of and give me the functionality of booting to a legit NDS cart with the SC still in the slot?

cory1492 also created a patcher... not sure if this is still relevant or if it will still work....
