I am writing this post because i think that this topic has to be talk about it.

I think someone has to do some homebrew based on SuperSmashBrothers because to me and i know a whole lot of people would care about it.

I know many may be thinking something like "omg another jerk that thinks thats easy" or something like it, but no.

I know how dificult can be to program something based on nothing or almost nothing so to help someone to create this homebrew i actualy thought to myself to discover some tipe of sprites or something about the game and i discovered this fabolous site about it...

This site as all the characters that enter Super smash brothers melee, and of course some BackGrounds aka "maps", and some non playable characters like "master hand" and "Giga Browser".

This Sprites are all made for homebrewish so i thought that someone could made a remake or sometype of thing like that of the SSBM.

Maybe later with the NDS Wifi Lib we could play it online and maybe and only maybe we could add some things new to the game like some type of story mode or maybe some type of new gameplay for the touch screen.

On the site they even have the emoticons of the life maters and selections images of the menu where you select your character !


Many may be thinking that im only a fool but this is my dream and for many and many people thats the same dream they have because as we saw on Jump Super Stars this is all "workable" and can be made easily if we can put together a good team.

Anyway, I would love to see a Smash Bros game for the DS. It could even have not-Nintendo characters like Sonic or Cloud. That would be so cool!

I was waiting for an handheld SSBM game since GBA times and I even e-mailed Nintendo about that but of couse, they just sent me the same thing they send to everyone(something like, "you won't know what will happen in the future so keep waiting" and blah blah) But if they make one, it would be really cool and Jump Superstars proves that it is very possible..

mmm....this game would be incredible..but i doubt it will happen if only small programmers do it.

There actually is a smash brothers port for both the PSP and the GP32, it was called SmashGp.

Why does the DS get no love?  Hopefully someone will port that to DS.

if there is a "port" to the ds, i hope the developer(s) will stay true to the original and not with all those extra characters...(it's nice, but it's not TRUE).

Oh well i hope somebody released a Mugen for the DS however the best so far is BoR for the DS which is still in production

Aww man they should release that for the ds.  It would be great.  Then when nintendo makes a real 3d smash bros then it would be the best.  Hope someone does it.  I have no idea in making games.

I personally would rather dream of an official port of Smash Brothers of the Nintendo64 on the DS. Does anyone know if this is even technical possible???


They did Mario 64 rather nice, if they could use hat method on Smash Brothers 64, we'd be banging ya'll!!
