I've just downloaded SuperPass 2 v.2.0 update from this link:

After I unpacked .rar file, and turned on setup.exe, my antivirus program
detected a TROJAN. So dont install this thing, or you can get yourself in
a trouble.
Interesting is, that the TROJAN was propobly created by nintendo, because
the name of it is:"TR/Nintendo.Taihe.B"
BTW. What are you guys thinking about it? Is it really possible that
Nintendo did this??? Lets hope it will be fixed soon .

It could be because it affects a Nintendo console? The creator doesn't normally name the virus, the anti-virus companies do. As for that, lucky my passme2 can't be reprogrammed  :lol:

the bricker is clssed as trojan and indeed has the name tahen

UNLESS that package included the virus's sig file( that guy hosting it has distruted a bricker detector that uses the bricker signature file to compare hombrew and detect its safe ness) so it is prolly a safe dl with the bricker sig thrown in for you to detect bricker nds files

there are several homebrew apps that are misdiagnosed as dsbricker. anyway, i've used that particular file, and it didn't cause any problems.

Use AVG Free it does not erronuously detect the bricker in homebrew like some other programs (DSLazy, etc.).  It will only detect the true bricker files.

I have a hard time believing that ratx would host a bricker file.  This is most likely an erroneous report from antivirus software.

Taihen is a known Trojan created by Darkfader. If you unscramble it, it spells Hentai. It's the DSbricker. and it'll show naked cartoons on your DS.

I think the "bricker" will only display a brick wall after it has erased your DS and SC firmware.  The point is that ratx is not distributing a trojan, and this thread is a false alarm.

There were two versions of the bricker... r0mloader.nds, which destroys your firmware and displays a brick wall, and taihen.nds, which destroys your firmware while displaying cartoon porn.

Edit: I just downloaded the file, extracted it, and scanned the setup.exe with AVG. It's clean, you're getting false alarms. You should switch to a different antivirus.

The file has the exact same md5/CRC as the file on supercard.cn...  also there is no way you can get the same bricker onto your nds via your superpass2. Someone has a broken virus scanner...

I'm fairly sure it was used for both reasons - trouble because that's what a bricker is, and hentai because that's what it shows.

I thought the Hentai version was basically the same as r0mloader with the only real difference being the names. I didn't know one version actually showed cartoon porn. Are you sure it wasn't just advertised as being porn to get people to download it?
