Hi ,

You know the people that made patches for GBA roms?? For instance, when i had a japanese Pokemon Fire red rom, i could make it english with an IPS patch.

Is there anything like that for NDS games like Pokemon Ranger?? Because i never heard of any Language translation patches for the NDS.

Would be very usefull if there is a way to translate some games.

There's a group working on making Jump Super Stars in English, but that's all I've heard of.

And Pokemon Ranger is said to not be too terribly hard if you don't know Japanese.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

but sometimes it's not just about how "hard" it is.. not being able to read the text takes away from the experience..

If it's an RPG, yeah. Most other game types can be played perfectly well with little to no knowledge of Japanese. (I played through Super Princess Peach in Japanese, and while I was a bit slow catching on to what somethings were, I actually enjoyed it more in Japanese - with it explaining everything in the English version [as Pokemon games also tend to do] it was actually less fun and too easy.)

I remember feeling that way about Jet Set Radio for Dreamcast.  I loved the Japanese version... Then it came out in USA and was ruined.

So it seems a hard thing to translate trhu IPS patches for the NDS. Because i bet there would be people busy with it if it was possible.

There are many language patches for the GBA, so i think it's just hard to do or something like that.

Thanx for your reply's anyway ;)
