Alright, my issue is this:
I'm trying to play Sonic Advance. I can only get maybe 10 levels completed in total between the characters when I seem to be unable to save. Now, I've tried everything I can think of to remedy this; I switched to the QPC method, tried the "Enble more Saver" option in the patcher, even tried uploading a 128k dummy file in place of the normal save file (nb. this didn't work at all). I'm using an SC CF of recent manufacture. Is this an issue with the SC itself, or just the game? Is this even fixable?

Oh yes. I did the L+R+Select+A "normal" save method. That only worked up until Angel Island Act 2 and wouldn't save any further, no matter what I did. QPC worked up until Egg Rocket Act 1 (one level past) and then stopped working. This hasn't happened with any other game I've tried before or since, either.
