first, does eliminating all extra patching options really eliminates all slowdowns?
second, does the qpr method ruins the gba?
i just feel bad to turn it on and off like that so much

First off, I've only found a small minority of good games that have slow down even WITH the Restart, Save, Quicksave patches on.

And an even smaller percentage of games that slow down with those OFF.  I use my SC on my gameboy micro.  100% GBA games, no DS games.  I play 95% of my games with Quicksave, Save, Restart, Compress with no slowdown compared to the same games running on VBA emulator on my 3.8ghz computer.

The reports of "massive slowdowns on tons of gba games" is retarded and wrong.  While there are DEFINITELY some non-working games or games with unfixable slowdown, they are a MINORITY.
