Hey thanx...Yes it gets faster and more stable.
For example instead letting the char walk 0.1 each frame, he will walk depending on current framerate...so even if its some frames slower, gamespeed will be same. Also i had evil problems with ram spaces...after some mapchanges (about 10) it hangs...also solved..I am think about loading 3ds instead of md2, since there are more editors out there...
As soundfile i think about loading s3m,which is much better then mod...
So there is still much todo, but its gets better and better...i hope to get it finished till neo flash compo...Another coder will make a mapeditor. He contacted me yesterday...So when just 2 weeks are left, untill compo i will do all maps and story.
Perhaps earlier...See yaa and stay tuned

I know it. You cant export to md2 without animations...For chars its great. But for a stone you can forget that untill u gave it animtions. Which doesn make sence. I have to use some editors together... All for their propose.
q2mdlr9b is great to animate or edit some things like normals (flipping, some editor have normals inverted). But creating new with that thing is hard. Since it has to many bugs on face creating. Milkshape is nice to convert a 3ds to md2. So then animate with q2mdlr9b. But best would be using 3ds dirrectly...But its bad documantated. And there are more then one 3ds..That from 3d studio max and that from Autodesk. Both arent completly documantated and for Max there is no animation infos. I dont even know if it is bone- or frameanimated...I let it be md2. Its some times a pain to create, but result can be perfect.

Hey thanx...
:) it goes well....i improved much last days...it runs between 30-60fps...
60fps is nice but cant be hold...its just the polycount which brings the framerate down... 30fps are realy ok and are float like water...so i have to block the the higher framerates for a stable gameplay... so i have much resources free and started with interaction....Wait untill neoflashcompo and you will be able to play it...
And maybe i have some nice effects more...

Hi...long time no news...But a couple of things were done...
It supports romdiscfs now(gbfs like port of KOSFS)...that means all files are in the ROM, and faster loading times (all <1 sec.)...many bugs are killed and i started with interaction....yes now u can talk to NPCs and collision detection to them is also done...
Thanx that new FS it work on one meu again...so i could make a screenshot...

thats not the end of interaction....2 more things...testing variables to make some textes just possible in some cases and seting vaiables so NPCs can give keys,wheapons...change attributes....
Then battles could start and i have enough to make a nice storya dn defined ways trough the world...

Wow, just looking at the two different screen shots is amazing. You have really come along way. I look forward to this game once you are ready to release it. Thanks for building us a free game!

Ahh np problem....sure its free....sure for you all...but i made it for myself...experiance...and i collected much..i post some screens i a sec..

Ok for the next days i will increse interaction things...
Some things which are planed:

-Chiocemode (for example yes/no or sword/knife/gun)

-Randommode (for ppl which doent play a big role in game...they can say different things when talking to them)

-If/Set Some textes will just be spoken in some cases...and could cause money/whepeanons or keys

And Guardians which dont let u pass if some things arent done...

With that i can build a nice story i think.

constant 60fps...like mtroid and mario kart...

Ok if i get it finished u will see it on neo compo...if not i will post it everywhere (scdev.org ndsdev.de dcemu.co.uk and drunkencoders.com of course)
ahh and if i will post to neo...it will be posted here too...so just wat about 3 weeks more....i need battles and items and a plot....demensionT? we have to talk...i need u too...time is right now...send me a pm...
