Hi there I got a Nintendo DS Lite navy blue and a Super Card SD version. If I buy the Superpass 2 card for my Nintendo DS Lite will It be ok? I found a guide that you can load NDS Roms from the Super Card SD using the superpass 2 which you have to download a ASMP-0.gba by having the real game which I am going to do. Thanks for reading this.

If you're just going to flash the firmware then a Superpass 2 will do the job.

If you're going to be using it as a passme without flashing, then you will definitely not want a Superpass 2 - besides being huge and ugly (especially when attached to the Lite), when it's inserted the DS Lite does not open fully and it is very uncomfortable to play. I would recommend to try and get hold of a smaller DS card sized passme instead (ie. Passme 2-z).

I looked around on the SHOP.01 site and they have the PassCard 2 and the Passme Upgrade (aka Passme2-z), but wouldn't the Passcard 2 work also for Supercard?

I thought it would probably work so I emailed them last week and asked them to confirm but they told me..

QuoteWe had few clients who use Supercad but they couln't get it work. And
the development team confirmed that flash cart must have sram save support and internal battery to work with PassCard2.

They said they had sent a couple of sites review copies so they may find that it is possible to work with Supercard. You could try checking gbatemp.net.

The new Mini-SD Supercard should work with Passcard 2 so if you don't have a Supercard already you might want to wait.. the Mini-SD one seems better all-round so I'd probably wait regardless.

There are already ways around the no battery backup (QPC method) it's listed in the supercard site. Those people they sent it out for review obviously don't do their research.

Thanx r3z, I'm just looking for other options than Flashme for my future DS Lite... I don't know if I can endure the mental strain during flashing. So scared of ending up with a brick.
