DS lite Flashme beta?!

first of all,first post.

So hello all

now down to bussiness ¬_¬

I have ordered a ds lite from lik-sang, and should have it by the end of the week. i know there was a beta of loopy's firmware hack, but i cant for the love of monkey funk find the files anywhere. if anyone can help me i would be ever so happy X(

no i do not intend to brick my lite, not at the amout of love i will give it.

To be honest, i have flashed my normal ds, and cant see how everyone panics so much about flashing.
I know its more risky with the lite, but aslong as you have it fully charged and plugged in and dont make a stupid mistake, like swithch it off when its "paused" due to loss of the SL1 bridge.

but like i say i have it due the end of the week, and i'm hopeing for a confirmed stable release, but i wanted to have the files just incase it gets wiped off the face of the internet before i get my lite, so that i have the option.

When I flashed my DS Lite I used Daveychan's step by step guide and it worked perfectly

yeah, i was going to follow his guide to the letter

but did you flash it with the beta of with V7? because ive been hearing that the problems are only with the beta.

I had no problem with the Firmware in the "Current" folder. Someone in the other thread said that the older one had less problems but simply made my DS Lite turn off whenever I bridged the SL1 Connector :roll:

COnsider flashing to V6 or V7 before the Lite firmware then.

I had NO problem flashing V7 to the Lite, but it DID power off TWICE while flashing the Lite Firmware Beta - for no good reason.

power off :O sounds scary, :shock: I may put of flashing ds lite till there's a definate ds lite version or non beta status don't really fancy bricking my new lite.

Might try older phat ds first

I've been reading the guides and everyone seem to use something different. I like the foil one

there is a final versian of flashme for the lite,

but from what i've heard (moo) its the second release of the beta, but has the old V7 imbedded in it, so it works for both flavours of the ds. I have also noticed people only complain about the first release of the beta, hopefully that means all the bugs are out and wont bother any other would be flashers (trench coat not required).

Anyway, still awaiting my shiney new Lite. come on lik-sang!! send it to me!!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!

Just flashed my brothers old ds , went fine lost contact with sl1 once or twice other than quite smooth sailing i used a mirror to check % progress, now to do ds lite :? ,
