i think (not entierly sure), but have you flashed the supper pass 2 with the imformation for the game you have in it, and coppied the corrisponding gba file to the supercard
if so, boot in gba mode, than run the gbs file that goes with the game you have in the supperpass, than it should say that its loaded into the memoery (or something) than you can boot it in ds mode

i dont know for sure, as i havent got my ds lite yet, but i have been reading alot, and thats what it points to.

good luck to you my fine friend, hope what i have to say helps at all :S

Using a Lite with passme2 is the same as any "new firmware" DS and its been covered a lot. Have you tried searching?  If you see the black Supercard screen on the lower display I'd guess you haven't patched the ROMs with the supercard software.....

I looked all over the site about the fix for this problem? I tried these products on older ds models and it works fine! There must be something i'm missing? Any links or help WOULD BE GREAT!!!

young24

i did all the steps i can found in the guide, managed to get the screen to show a black supercard screen on the lower display then if i choose the nds rom (without patching) ... the loading starts finish counting ... display white screen ...

if i choose the nds rom (patch with supercard software and directly output to CF) ... the loading starts but before counting finishes ... display white screen ...

is it the rom problem ... the patching of rom problem?

never tried on a old ds so nt sure whether i did the right things ....

I'm using the SD version of the supercard and superpass 2. I'm using the 1.61 kernal for the supercard and 2.53 version for the patching of the roms. Doesn't matter what game I use to use as the authorizion card? I'm using the prime hunters demo card! Supercard tech support sent me a email that said how to fix it, not sure what they mean "you may upgrage flashme to V7.or you use passme2." I have a passme 2 already I think it the superpass 2 right. Thanks Allot!

As long as your can programme the SP2 accordingly / correctly no it shouldn't matter what game you use. Larryii have you ever seen the black supercard DS screen on the lower DS screen? if not you haven't got the SP2 working correctly as yet...

larryii

I've never seen the black screens on either screen! It boot's up the gba card but after the sram load switch off the system and turn it back on. The top and bottom screens go's white? But I've used this same pair of cards on my brothers silver ds and my friends mario cart red ds and no problems :(

Different DS's have different firmware. It sounds like your DS has firmware requiring the "passme2" method. There is lots of information about it on these boards but basically you need to programme the superpass with the correct code for the game you're using. You then need to do the SRAM bit with the piece of SRAM code for the game your've programmed...  for a wild guess your friends have DS's with the "old" firmware which worked using the plain "passme" method. I'd also guess your superpass2 came programmed by default in "passme" mode rather than "passme2" mode....

I'm sorry if i'm a nOOb but, the game card thats in the superpass2 is the files that i have to have on the supercard sd card? Or does it need to be the for the game I what to play on the ds lite? I thought the files on the gba are the game that is plugged into the superpass2. I hope I don't have to flash my ds lite it still smells NEW! The switch that on the side of the superpass2 is a program switch right. down to program up for run program I guess. Poor english on supercard.cn websire :)

ratx

You need to programme the superpass for the game you're connecting to it - once its working it'll work with any games you're actually trying to run - same with the SRAM file, it has to be the same as the game connected to the SP2.  Re the switch yes its something like that.... http://eng.supercard.cn/manual/superpass2.htm goes over the process in bad engrish. I'm afraid you won't be able to flash with a working passme2 ;)

larryii

So what are my options than? Should I flash the ds lite or get a passme 2s-z? If I get the passme 2 will I have to program it also? Thanks Alot for your help supercard tech support is awful! I even tried a different game card no go. I must be missing something!

ratx

I thought you said you had a passme2..... you need to programme it for the game you're using?
