*knock on wood* my super card is still in great shape from 2 months ago and hasn't shown much wear and tear. FOr all you worried about problems, just be smart with it and you won't run into trouble. With game compatibility increasing this has really turned into a nice product. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because i needed to take a star off for when games slow down and what not.
