One thing that I haven't mentioned is that I don't own a Superpass or Superpass2, nor did I use one with this Supercard miniSD.  I own a MagicKey3 which I used to install Passme 7 onto my v1 DS.  I don't see why a Superpass2 would be required to 'setup' a Supercard, but I figured I should explain that I've never used one just in case.

That might be the problem.  Basicly passcard2=superpass2=passme2 and passcard=superpass=passme, for the most part.  I don't know about MagicKey3.  It should work the same as the others.  Did you program it to work with a specific game cart?  It won't work with your version DS straight out of the box.

so check it out buddy I got 2 games to work on it and yes they are ds games! go get the proggie ndspatch.exe and drag your nds files onto it and it automatically makes a gametitle.nds.gba and all you have to do is rename it with just the *.nds filename and it should boot only problem is I dont know how to save to the supercard!

I have a v1 DS, though.  The MagicKey3 acted as a Passme for me to install Flashme v7, thus I should no longer need a passme of any kind.

I couldn't get Mario64 DS v1.1 to work using that technique.

Something else I've observed is usually after the loading reaches the destined amount (15000K / 15000K), it'll start over at 0K / 791K and load up to 64K in a split second before going to the white screens.  Very strange.

Here's something interesting.  I just tried to run flashme.nds from the Supercard (no patching) and it said...

NDS file is corrupt.

I didn't realize you had already done that. It's like I said before . . .

If you are talking about homebrew, yes you need to rename *.ds.gba files to *.ds.nds to run on supercard.

If you are talking about commercial roms you need to patch "clean dump" game roms . . .

Here is some help with understanding how to patch homebrew . . .

That technique resulted in a double white screen.

Well unfortunately for you, that is not a typical result. Please be sure you understand everything I have explained to you.  I doubt there is something wrong with your hardware, but maybe.  Can you still return it? Try a different SD.

Jackalo

I have followed all of your directions, and have been quite creative with my partitioning and formatting techniques as well.

If I can raise the cash, I'll go to Walmart and purchase a small miniSD card to try it.  If it works, I'll be returning this Kingston and getting a different name brand.

bitblit I got some games to work with ndspatcher but with the Supercard patcher i cant get anything to work! How do i patch say.....resident evil or brain age anything! I cant figure it out!

spyderchaz

also whenever I try to patch something with the supercard patcher doesnt matter the size of the game when I go to load it through the supercard ds part it starts loading the game really small like resident evil is a gig game and it loaded a 1424 and of course went to a white screen!

This should work . . .

1) verify game roms with Nintenren software
2) patch game roms with latest supercard patcher software (v2.52)
http://www.scdev.org/index.php?cat=downloads&type=sd
3) use this list for best patcher software options
http://www.dualscene.net/lists/index.php?listname=Supercard
4) copy patched *.dsq and *.sav files to SD
5) run patched files in DS mode

When using the supercard patcher software make sure you right click on the games in the list (ie. Brain Age) and select option ROM position and Save both to SD.

I did I always just get 2 white screens.....I was using the ndspatcher and got about 6 games working with that but havent got a single one working with the supercard patcher program.
