I sent 01media a couple of questions about the Passcard and they have replied and updated their page. Here's the basic information..

The size is 33x35x4 mm which I think is the same as a DS card.

They weren't able to confirm that it works the same way as a Passme 2-z, but looking at the new picture they have up of the inside of the card it would appear to be the same.. the chip on the left has APNE printed on it which according to darkfader's list would be Pac N Roll (U), so I am guessing that it would be fine to use with a supercard like a 2-z.

If anyone's interested the download/instructions for the card have been added here.. http://shop.01media.com/download/PSC2.zip

They also mentioned that they have sent cards to GBATemp.net,
Nintendumps.net and http://www.elotrolado.net so they should have some reviews available soon.

But passcard does not support supercard. It is not like passme 2-Z. The passme 2-Z support SuperCard SD/CF, GBALink, Magic Flash, G6, Ewin and EZ etc

So, If you have M3,choose passcard. If you have supercard, choose passme 2-Z

Of course M3/G6 team (who make passcard) would say it's compatible with M3, and not supercard.  they make a lot of other false claims about supercard's compatibility too.

I am almost certain it WILL work with supercard.

I replied to 01media shop regarding the pic on their site saying that the card may mean it would work like a Passme 2-z and be compatible with Supercard but they replied to me and said that a few customers of theirs with Supercard had not been able to get it to work.

They also stated
QuoteThe development team confirmed that flash cart must have sram save support and internal battery to work with PassCard2.

It seems strange that it wouldn't work and I thought it was probably just a way for M3 to get more customers as sneef suggested.. maybe the customers didn't try loading the .gba/sav files correctly?

At least they are being up front/forewarning customers that it is not suggested to work with Supercard, and they've been pretty good in replying to my queries so 01media's customer service seems decent.

I think I might wait a little bit until the reviews come out and confirm for sure as right now I would prefer the Passcard 2 to a Passme 2-z (actually I would prefer my Superpass 2 to work so I could just flashme my Lite but if I have to buy another passme I want the neatest one available!).

"...actually I would prefer my Superpass 2 to work so I could just flashme my Lite..."

I havent read your previous posts so i dont know exactly what the problem with superpass2 is for you. However, this might be of interest to you:

I got this error with the superpass2 software  before i found the solution:
1. Hardware not connected to PC
2. USB cable not connected
3. Superpass 2 key not open

tested on 3 pcs and they all gave the same error. The problem is Onboard Parallel Mode (Normal) that is set as default on most PCs in the BIOS.

The solution is to change the onboard parallel mode to "ECP" in your computers BIOS, after that the Superpass2 programmer is detected without error and you can program as you wish

My exact settings in the BIOS:
Onboard Parallel Port: 378/IRQ7
Onboard Parallel Mode: ECP
ECP Mode Use DMA 3

Personally I will flash my DS Lite with flashme7 as soon as i receive the Original Metroid Pinball game ive ordered, superpass2 is gamecode-flashed and ready =)

Also, Passcard2 DOES work with supercard. However you have to download the corresponding .gba and .sav files (look in sram.dat that comes with passcard2 and you will find the game name then download the files from darkfaders site) then run the gba file in gba mode. After that insert the passcard2 and restart the DS Lite quickly and you will enter NDS mode.

ya...but! if you use the passcard2 with the miniSD supercard that only needs to be dont once! (so just get the passcard! pm me if you need detailed instructions on how to use passcard2 with a supercard)

I just ordered my supercard sdmini w/ this passcard2 for my ds lite lol.  I do not plan to flash my dslite since its a the "new wave" of ds lite w/ the possible flash problem.  In any case the passcard 2 looks so cool!  Ill probably come back here asking for instructions when it arrives since this is my first time messing w/ a ds.

mwingboy

you just got it? shouda waited   .... the datel max media launcher is supposed to but from a flash cart with absolutely no programming

is your passcard2 hard to remove?

nah i just ordered it.  it should come in about a week from gamingsection.ca.  i  have nothing at the moment so waiting is not quite an option.  i cancelled my superpass2 order and just ordered the sc sdmini.  in any case, its not like im suffering.  the passcard2 looks pretty killer and is suppose to not stick out at all.  In any case, im a worker, so if anything good shows up ill probably buy it =P

ugh and here we go, i have a dslite, supercard sdmini, and passcard2.  when i first boot i get two white screens with the passcard2 in.  so then i load in gba, insert passcard2, and reboot.  still two white screens.  then i use the old passme2  gba file and i still get two white screens.  some people speak of gba file for pac n roll, but i have no idea what to do next =(
