My little boy decided, wile I was sleeping, he would play my ds. when I woke up I found the ds with my supercard in it. I then noticed something wrong. the CF card was bent in the middle about 30 degrees, and the CF card was jammed into it upside down as far as it could go. I pulled it out, and almost every pin was smashed, bent, or broken. thank goodness the cf card still worked and I was able to get my saves off of it, but now I have no way to play ds games until I can get a new card. if I had a digital camera id post a picture of the mess he left just to show how much damage a 3 y/o can do.
am the new way to go, I am the way of the future.

lol, sorry to hear it bro. I have twin 20month old daughters and no matter where I put the DS, every other day I see them run by with it in there hands, lol. Gotta love them kids!

Dang 3 year old hackers.

I think the standard supercard SD is better for young kids.  This is the model I let my 5 year old son play with because it's not as fragile as SCCF.  With SC miniSD, the miniSD is too accessible for curious hands.

I had a bent SCCF pin before . . .

I used a carpenter knife to open one side of his SCCF casing, and that was enough to slip out the pcb. The pin in question was pin 13 which happens to be VCC (3.3V) and was grounding against some other pins.

After straitening the pin out I put the SC back together and tested it with an old GBA and it still works.. . .
