I havent upgraded my SC SD firmware in awhile, and I dont remember where I was.  Can I just install the newest one without a problem?

The last firmware I installed was out the same time as my last SC software was downloaded, 2.50

Has anything significant happened since then?

Well it seems the new Super Mario game needs the new firmware/patcher. I'd say thats pretty significant,lol.

Im running it fine on my firmware.  I did use the newest patcher though.

Thats the reason Im asking actually, because I have no problems with what I have with the exception of GBA slowdowns and some friends codes problems with mario kart.  All the games I play, including New Mario, work fine.  I havent tried Tetris yet though.

When you run the supercard firmware flash utility it will show you what version is currently running before prompting to proceed with the upgrade.

Better idea, hold L+R while the supercard is booting and it gives you the firmware version right away.

Are there any bugs I should know about with the later firmwares?  I read something about having to partition my SD card to get the newest ones to install?

Welp, looks like ur right.  I just checked my firmware and its 1.60

Weird, I dont remember installing anything past 1.52 or 1.54... Must be getting mixed up since Ive recently gotten heavy into the psp homebrew scene.  Anyway, thanks everyone.
