i have a superpass 2, do i need to change the superpass 2 to superpass 1 in order to flash my ds.

And whats the fail safe button combo, what does it do.

no its backward compatible, and the fail-safe button como is nothing to owrry about, unless flashing goes wrong, and then its l+r+abxy i believe, that will let you try to flash your ds again
