Got my Supercard in today, but I can seem to get the thing to save.  I'll use Minish Cap as an example of what I'm doing.

Load game

Start new character and enter name

It then saves within the game

I hit L+R+Select+A and it asks to write to Flash

Hit yes and it acts like it saves to the card

Turn off GBA

Load Minish Cap and there's no gamesave

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?  I used the patching program prior to putting the game on the card.  The program made one extra file(MinishC.sav) in addition to the MinishC.gba  Is there anything I'm doing wrong or missing?

Also when I try to do a RTS using the L+R+Select+B combo nothing happens.

Is the "auto load saver" option checked in the "options" section of the Supercard loader (the software you run on the GBA before you start a game)?  Also, try hitting L+R+Select+A while in-game and try to load a save before starting the game.

The Supercard Windows program will make 3 files when you run a ROM through it.  Those are the .gba ROM file, the .sci realtime save file, and the .sav regular save file.  You must copy ALL of these files to your CF card before saving will work.

Auto load saver is checked in the options.  When using the SuperCard software, its only making two files.  A .gba and a .sav.

In the "options" tab of the Windows program, make sure "saver patch", "enable restart", and "enable real time save" are checked.  Run your ROMs through it again after enabling those options and copy the new files to your CF card and try again.   :)

I just looked at my version info, and I have Version 1.00.  I'm downloading setupnewv210en.exe from the official site(at 3kb :( ), so I think this should fix my problems.  Thanks for the help.

You'll get much better download speeds from here:

Make sure you install the new Supercard Windows software AND update the firmware on the card.  Extract the UPGRADE141new.rar file and put its contents onto your CF card by itself.  Boot your Supercard and allow it to upgrade your Supercard to the latest firmware.  After that's complete, turn off your GBA and then use your PC to delete the firmware upgrade files from your CF card.  If you don't do this, it will ask you to upgrade everytime you boot the Supercard.  After doing this and running your ROMs through the latest software with all the options I mentioned above checked, it should hopefully work.

Edit:  Also make sure to copy the rominfo.dat file to your Supercard program directory...
