As I understand it, if I want to use my Supercard's firmware's builtin Goomba emulator, I have to create save files for each ROM. How am I supposed to know the size of the save file I need to create, though? Is there a definitive list out there or some other solution?

all you need to do is go to your hard drive, program files and then to the SC folder, there you will fine a save file name save.sav.
just drag it to you flash card(same folder of rom) and rename it to the gbc rom.
walla, your done.
p.s. you have to save through the game then back up the save like in gba games.

Thanks for the reply. I just tried that and no game will boot with that save file. The "Gameboy logo" is displayed, and then Goomba just sits there (I can still access the menu with R+L). save.sav is 64K, I'm guessing that's probably too large.

Metroid II works with the save file (although Super Mario Land does not), but save states don't work with it. -_- :-/ Please help >_>

Newest firmware using the goombaC alpha 6 builtin to run the .gb/cs, second the sram is lost on the supercard itself the saves are *GONE* I have YET to run into a gameboy or gameboy color file that has been able to keep its save after powering off.

Yes, I go to saver, and save to sd on the .sav files after I save inside goomba.
No, I do not have any idea how to get these saves to stick, I'm really getitng flustered over this because NO I do NOT want to have to build a large packed gba file in order to save. Why can't the built on the fly goomba read from the .sav that I already have on the card that had been already previously saved onto by a previously built by the card run of goomba and rewritten onto the SD?
