Hi, i'm a n00b...  can anyone explain to me how to see a movie on my NDS using supercard and moonshell 1.3?
Tnx! 8)

you need to convert the movie to dpg format with a tool called dpgenc
if you search the forum theres loads of threads concerning this

Download this: http://mdxonline.dyndns.org/moonshell/files/moonshell10_dpgtools.zip

Use the dpgenc.exe to convert the movie to a .dpg file. You can play around with the settings to fiddle with the video size and quality. Then put the .dpg file on ur CF/SD card .. boot moonshell and play the file  8)

i usually keep my setting round about here

m2pt5

Here's the settings I use for everything, and I've found they work quite well.

Edit: I get little to no slowdown or anything, even on my Supercard SD + PNY SD card with no listed speed rating.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

I always play the file on Windows Media Player and check the properties to see what the settings originally play at.  Then when I convert to .dpg I try to match those settings and all usually works fine.
