Would it be a safe option to put a tiny amount of conductive paint (Maplins) onto S1 on the LITE to flash it.

Providing it could be removed at a later date?

Just a thought.

and why would you do that if using a precision flathead screwdriver is a whole lot safer?

Just beacause I have heard so many stories about people shorting the LITE using the old method.
