White or Black?

The DS Lite launches in the UK soon and I'm unsure which colour is really the best looking. The white is pretty stylish and seems to the the colour of choice for just about everything electronical. The only drawback I think with black will be when playing dark setting games, it will be hard to distinguish between the two but I'm not really that sure.

What does everyone else think?

White stands out more, though Black means you can say to the rest of the world "Hey I've got a black DS, I'm cool!"

Well my white lite is getting a bit grubby on the shoulder buttons. This is enevitable even for people who wash their hands everytime before touching the DS and I'm sure it will be easy enough to clean. But I will probably think about getting a black one to solve this problem.

On the other hand the black colour will get smudged and dirty with visible finger prints on the outside of the case far quicker than the white one.

So really...choose which ever colour you prefer!

I hope that they will release a red and lime green one one day (same colours as the early pics of the wii / revolution).

im having a bit of trouble picking between pink & brown
can someone tell me if theres any difference?

The brown is very brownish and the pink very pinkiish.

Unfortunately, we only get white here in the states, for some reason, so I'll have to go with white, though I'd really like to have black.

No contest.. black is the one to have (check link above for proof).

If I had one of those white (yuck) ones I would probably hide it away in a box in the attic and pretend I never even heard of a DS.

Yes, we get stuck with the gay white...which is why i might import mine after the release in the US and maybe UK when prices will hopefully drop...but maybe not...maybe i'll just suck it up and buy one on the 11th.

Lol. I might also import one from Japan....again after the release here...the avialability of the white versions should lower prices somwhat...

Any of the other colors are better for the DSLite...(not ness the DS as i seen a pink one i really am glad i won't ever have)....so yes the black is the best...but anything out now for DSLite is better than white.

The problem to me is that either black, blue(s), or white versions are unicolor.
On old DSs buttons are black or grey, even for the white one.
All parts of the same color is what annoys me.

White sure takes dirt, but I'll probably choose that one.
I have some stickers to put on it, and they looks better on white surface.

Well, I have a enamel navy DS Lite (Imported from play-asia.com) and I got a black gamecube( don't think i'm goth)....I'd get a black ds lite but it doesn't matter that much jut GET A DS LITE! They be awesome.

If you don't want a white one...import from japan, mine works as well as an American one
