DS Lite (US) Street date broken!

I went to my local Walmart and picked up a DS Lite today (5/31). Apparently many Walmarts, Targets, and KMarts across the country received DSL today and ignored the official release dates.

UPDATE:
Well, I tried Target, KMart, and two Wal-Mart's including a super store. I guess the Nintendo trucks haven't arrived in Las Vegas yet (5/31). The Target clerk assured me they would go on the shelf as soon as they arrive.

The Target employee I bought mine from said "Man, these have been selling like hotcakes all day".

Told him, smiling - "I bet they have!"

I tried a couple of Targets before I found one that had'em. The guy smiled his ass off during the sale.

Has anyone tried the US DSL with a SuperCard or even tried flashing it yet? Does it work the same as the Japs or is there new security built in by Nintendo?

New DS Lite flashes JUST FINE. Supercard NO problem. Confirmed works with MML.

I went to Fry's today, and there they were; I counted at least 30 or so Lites in that glass display case, and a yellow post it note that said "DS LITE, JUNE 11th".
