Today , i have opened it and checked the F1 and F2 , it's  still normal   ( i don't know if they were normal   ) , i have checked the battery , it' ok , i brought it to the trouble-shooter and they said that the nds cpu is out of order ( ><) (
Help me plz
sorry for my bad english  :D

So you suddenly lost your DS, Supercard, SD, SD reader, and files?  That really sucks.  :?

How did you check fuses F1 and F2, with a multi meter?  I can offer a working DS main board for $30+S&H.  PM me if you are interested.

what is the multi meter  :?: i don't know how to check the fuse in f1 and F2 . I got the trouble-shooter to check it , he hasn't repaired the ds before  :? so that i think it is not credible >< , how can i know which fuse is blown and how can i remove the fuse ?
if i can't fix it  :? , i will buy the mainboard form you   , i'm vietnamese , can u ship to my country , and how about the shipping price ?

A continuity test must be done to determine whether a DS fuse is blown.  You can't tell by looking at the fuse.  To test the continuity requires the use of a multimeter. It might sound complicated but it's not.  Set the multimeter to the ohm setting. The symbol for ohm is the Greek letter omega. If there is more than one ohm setting, choose X1.  Apply the probes to each end of the fuse in question.  If you can't get the needle to move (or LED to change) then the fuse is blown.  You can solder a small bit of wire across the fuse to bridge it.

Mine did the exact same thing. My kid turned off the DS and when I turned it back on , nothing. The green light would come on but only black screens.

I had to boot up while holding start, select ,a,b. Then I had to run flashme.nds  off the supercard and short out SL1 again.  After it was reflashed it worked fine.

help me   i haved checked F1 and F2 with the multi meter , it's normal and so is the battery   , the ds won't turn on. No sooner had i pluged the adapter on , the red light turned on for few seconds >< i tried to turn on the ds , the green light lit for few seconds , too .  :|

guess what mine did that a few days ago , the  fuses were fine, i duno why  mine did it  but  first ------  the screens were acting weird and not showing rite and thats for both of them and lines missing and faded  graphics -----

i  gave it a bang guess what it didnt turn on  :( .  thats when i made a home made  nintendo  screw driver and took the  gay thing apart and  fuses were ok and not broke,  checked with the meter  they were ok.....

first when it didnt work it made taht  sound  clonk like noice like when the speakers  kick in and then  nothing but   screens diidnt light up.  the power light stayed on but  after i opend it up it didnt do it

i think it may have been the heat but i duno why the hell it happend i was playing on it at lunch time on that day.   it annoyed me so much.

i then decided to  bridge the fuses and   cocked up and a  piece of solder fell over  one of them block thingys on the  ds and fused with the  solder on the board and  now  there is pretty much a few  chips  missing lol  .

i got a  new ds coming  thank  god which i got off ebay.    bitblt is there any uk sites which sell the board as i want to  try  getting that one up n running but i am worried about the screens incase they are  damaged as they went   haywire.

i wouldnt mind  buying a board but i dont  live in the us so its pretty  difficult unless i got one  off a  damaged  ds liek a  top screen.

Did you test the fuses before you messed with them? Why would you try to solder your DS fuses if they weren't blown?  Anyway, I'm thinking one of the ribbon connectors in your DS was loose (or heat damaged)?  The DS won't power up if the LCDs aren't conected properly.  A new DS main board should fix your problems.

I don't know a UK site for DS parts.  I purchased two DS (phat) main boards on eBay from here . . .

I ordered them before I found out the DS has fuses, so I never had to use them. It's not difficult to ship to the UK, it would just cost a little more and take a little longer.  One of the main boards I have for sale is marked EU.

yeh i tested the  fuses they were ok,  the ribbons  , i have looked at them and they look ok and have  taken them out and replaced them all and the same problem occoured.  i duno what the problem was tell you the truth..

i will   prob  get a new ds board like you said or get a broken ds with  top screen off ebay and just replace the top screen, it shouldnt be too hard but i will keep the soldering iron well away this time lol and not make a mess up   .

i got a  datel max media launcher and i have played  the ds with it quite a lot but problem is that i leave the lid closed and it use to rapid flash and sound pop , i think it may  have been that that messed the screen up but the last game i played was a gba game, castlevania to be pecific.
