I just got my DS lite today and of course I try and give my supercard 1(CF version)and superpass 1 a whirl only to get 2 white screens.
So then I figured that something must be wrong with my supercard/superpass and insert them both back to the original DS (not sure what version that is but I got it on launch day if that helps at all) but they work fine.
I've been reading the forum and I read all of this about firmware so I check the kernel version of the supercard and it's the newest (v1.62) and the version supercard software which is also current (v 2.541). I try and do a bit of troubleshooting and I loaded up an old X-Rom 512 flash card on the DS Lite and it works perfectly I then load up the Supercard 1 by itself without the superpass into the DS Lite and it too loads up but I couldn't see the DS roms contained on there, but that's probably because of the fact that the superpass 1 wasn't inserted.
Is there a reason that the DS Lite isn't seeing the superpass 1 at all? Is there something I'm missing as far as software goes because I hope that flashing this DS doesn't come into play because that's why I originally got a superpass, so I didn't have to mess around with flashing and screwing up my original DS. But I probably would if it came down to it. I really don't want to return this DS lite because it is really cool. (what the DS should have been in the first place  )

The Superpass 1 doesn't work with the Lite.

You will need a second generation passme device, a Max Media Launcher, or other similar device.
