I just got my Supercard today and im having some problems. When i boot it up in my GBA SP with the Supercard and SD card in, all i get is the Game Boy logo and no "Nintendo". I cannot use the L + R error checking method with an SD card in either. Without an SD card i get "write protect lock, Please turn off GBA", but i can use the L+R error check thing. it tells me everything is ok except "SD/MMC error: error code:01" but im guessing this is because there is no SD card in.

My SD card is formatted as FAT without a lable, and I have also tried another. I've tried with the firmware updates on the sd, but still cannot load the menu. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

well write protect lock normally means youve got the write protect lock on :S

The write protect lock comes on when there's no SD card in (so i can't really turn it off) and when i do put an SD card in with write protect lock on, it stays at the Gameboy logo without nintendo.

Wow that is strange that it says that even when their is no SD card in the slot It sound like its the firmware or something else wrong with your supercard.  try to test your supercard by holding L+R when you boot up your supercard

Plague

Yeah, i tested it. But that only works WITHOUT an sd card in. when i put one in, i cant test it.

The test says everythings ok, except "SD/MMC error: error code:01". the firmware is version 1.44

rocky

wow thats realy strange because when I take my card out the system thinks their is no game inserted.  If you can return it to the person you bought it from you should

Plague

Yeah, i just did that today, thanks for trying though rocky.

i have the exact same problem as this - has anyone else had this?

Shinseiki

Fake or Real Super card ?

if its a Fake, go get a refund.

sleeepy76

its genuine.  i think i sussed the problem though.  seems that mine also need the sd card pushing in a little further.  sticky tape made it work, for the time being anyhoo
