DS Lite Colors

Is white the only avaliable color for DS Lites in the US?

I would go white , but my concern is stains from dust or smoke (like cigarettes) , even tho I would have a case and cleaning it every so often

White is all the USA is getting for now.

Yes, only white for now in the US, Europe gets black and white. The NDSL actually has a clear plastic layer over most of it's outer surface. You will never get that part dirty (maybe scratch it). The L R buttons and hinge are problem areas.

good to now , and the clear should clean relitively easy I guess

Give up them cigarettes.. I've been smoke-free for 18 months and 9 days. Save your lungs.

That is for the launch only later on they will release other colors. just like every other system they made. If they didnt release any others they would loose millions of dolars. and dc emu said they would make somemore later on too

As of last month there were no plans in the forseeable future of extra NA colors according to Nintendo.

well a while back dc emu http://nintendo-ds.dcemu.co.uk/ said that later on they will have more colors. I dont know why they wouldent

Are you sure it was meant for US/Canada and not UK (which does have 2 versions)?

And anyway as i mentioned it was for the forseeable future, which means it wasn't off their books entirely, but means not this year and likely not next year.

sadly I'm around it even if I didn't smoke...

Woul dgetting an imported DS be fine if I used FlashMe?
