DS Wifi compatible routers? What are you using?

I finally got my old D-Link routers out of storage last night to try to hook up my DS to Wifi.  After about 15 minute of messing around with it, I go to nintendowifi.com and find out my router is not compatible with the DS...how convenient.  Anyways, I was looking on the site and there are really very few routers that are they claim are fully compatible with the DS.

So, I was wondering what you guys are using and if you have gotten any routers to work that aren't on the nintendowifi.com list?  I've been looking on ebay and various cheap online computer shops and all of the compatible routers are $50+, kinda depressing when I already have multiple wireless routers laying around at home.

I hate to have to go and buy that stupid Nintendo USB access point when it only works for like 30 feet, but that may be my best option right now.

Thanks for any info.

I picked up a Linksys WRT54G from Walmart. (I needed a new router anyway though.) I've only used it a few times to set up friend codes and to check out dissonance, but I've had no problems getting the DS to connect.

I don't have the receipt handy to check the price, but I'm pretty sure it's under $50 (before taxes anyway.)

I'm on a dlink di-624 also... but i sugest a linksys instead, much better, the range here in my house is very poor, but then the wall are all like 20 centimeter deep concreet so... , but anyway the dlink has some limitations like the number of virtual server entries... really lame, also you can't especify ranges when forwarding something... a linksys with linyx is ages better.
SC CF + 1GB Kingston CF + flashed NDS = a whole lot of fun.

I'm using some Motorola model  (can't check now).  It works great.

I'm confused.  Any 802.11b+ router should work with DS.  However, you might need to disable wep/firewall.  If you are worried about security then configure your router to only accept certain MAC addresses.  Are you really concerned about your neighbors trying to spoof your DS MAC address?  Don't be paranoid.  I would only be slightly concerned if you live in an apartment.
