all built in memory? That's bad for people without much disposable income.

I think it would have been nice to have the flash memory external, something like rs-mmc or mircoSD. More because i can then get multiple memory cards and store various stuff on one, plus it makes upgrading the amount of space easier.

That's my only complaint about the design.

and the built in memory is up to 1Gb....which is barely anything

They have a Neo2 Lite TF coming too. Does anybody really care tho? Neo Team has been pretty lame about fixing existiing hardware issues. They just make a new product (or claim it's new).

What I'd really love to see... (preferably by Supercard)

A DS-Lite flashcart that uses either Mini-SD, RS-MMC, or xD, has nothing more than a PCB board, 32 megs of RAM (or more if it's not too expensive) and the firmware be EXTERNAL. That's right, instead of having a large chip on board for the firmware, have a smaller one that points to a SuperFirm.nds file on the media card. This way you can make the firmware as big as you want (update those emulators) and add extensions to it. It would also save physical space not having that large firmware chip. Also, no battery please, Supercard SD and CF don't have one and are working fine. Just add an SRAM and Clock patcher to the software for GBA games that use it (Like the pokemon games).

And the biggest thing that would make it different than all other DS-Lite flashcarts... Make it available in White, Light Blue, and Navy. Just like the dust covers (including that little extra piece of plastic) so that when you have it in, it matches your DS and no one is the wiser till you start playing games. Then you can whip it out and show them the logo on the card.

That's my dream flashcart right there, External firmware and media, and colors that match your DS Lite.
