Hi all,

I've had my SC for a few weeks now and have been playing a hand full of games with no problems including Pokemon Leaf Green.  Yesterday I copied my save game off the SD card and loaded the game into VisualBoy Advance.  I opened a second VBA so I could link them together and trade some Pokemon.  When I finished I took the save file and loaded it back on the SD card.  I fired up the GBA and the game acted like there was no save file, it started a new game.  I tried L+R+A+Select and nothing happened, no menu poped up.  I though it was odd but just figured I had screwed the save file up with VisualBoy.  I loaded up the original save file I had copied to my PC (i.e. I saved a copy of the save file that was never loaded into VisualBoy) and the same thing happened, the game acted as if there was no save file and L+R+A+Select did nothing.  I tried starting a new game, saving withing the game then hitting L+R+A+Select and still no save menu.

Since then I've tried running the origninal Rom through the SC software to patch and putting it on the SD card, didnt work.  I've made sure I have all the right options selected.  I don't think the SC cartridge or SD card is bad because other games such as Final Fantasy 1 still work just fine.  No matter what I do Pokemon doesn't work anymore.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Axeman

Hope i can give a light here.
VBA sav files aren't straight compatible with SC sav files.
Maybe you want to repatch the rom in the software, enabling the saver patch and importing the existent VBA save so it will do the conversion.

Usualy, i use Rascalboy wich uses srm batery saves. Trying to use those saves with VBA, i patch the rom in SC patcher, importing the srm and geting a sav. Rename it so it'll match the rom name and put in VBA's sav folder. It doesn't work.
