when i use the conversion software i put in a movie that is about 600mb and i set it on normal quality the gbm and gbs files turn out to be like 900mb so i would like to know what i have to set things up like so that i get a good quality and small file.I read that some one put in 1.6G movie on high quality and it came out total like 250mb so i want to do that too. Thanks :?

You will have to fiddle with the quality settings yourself.  
The Lik Sang forums I've found to be the best regarding tweaking suggestions for the Movie converter.
Unfortunately, Romman seems to have no interest in porting over the "crystal engine" which does a much better job generating smaller files on the default Normal setting.
Here's a good suggestion for trying to figure out if the conversion is going to be any smaller:  generate a 3 minute conversion for the setting you used to get that 900mb file.  Then fool around with the advanced settings and generate a 3 minute file with the new setting.  Check the quality and file size and see if it's acceptable.  Keep tweaking until you can't get that 3 minute file any smaller.
