The movie I used was from batchdpg. i am not getting that error.

please post how the new dpgtools seems to perform.

edit: works fine on my sclite as well, with no error using batchdpg movie and moonshell 1.4 (just put the sclie.nds file straight to the sd card no patching required).

Hmm...something was DEFINITELY changed in v1.4 final. I just tested v1.4 beta 7 (which was only released a few days ago) and the video I have works fine. But, in the final, it locks up at a certain point. The video is what locks up btw...the audio keeps going. As for the new tool, I cannot use it for some reason. I go to convert (I am converting an Mp4 btw) and the program stops responding after a short while. The conversion of this same file works perfectly in BatchDPG, but like I said, the last version that plays it correctly is v1.4 beta 7. Guess I'm sticking with that version for awhile.

With this verison for the SCLite I keep getting a ext.mp3 not supported. Is there a plugin I am missing? Videos play fine by the way.

Well, what do yah know. I received my Supercard CF units today and tried again...1.4 final and my video that was locking up with the SC miniSD. Works PERFECTLY on the CF unit. It must be either the miniSD card I own (standard Sandisk 2GB) OR that Moonshell's miniSD performance is just not as good. Man, do I love the CF version for such good compatibility with this and so many other homebew apps I am testing...

zektor, glad to here it is working for you, it is a great program. If you ever try out a different mini sd card, please post your results.

relin, did you get the latest 1.4 version. Also did you delete your old shell folder, then add the new one (i don't think you are supposed to use the old shell with a new version)? just some suggestions. did you have any luck yet?

It's just funny how the last beta version of v1.4 worked fine. Again, something in the way that the program reads memory cards must have been changed (in the way of SD) and I am leaning toward adding microSD support did something. The CF driver has been in there forever, so always works good.

That is strange, it worked fine on my daughters SC SD with sandisk ultra II 1g. Tomorrow morning, I will try it again when I get home from work to make sure I was not mistaken.

SC SD or miniSD? It may just be a miniSD driver issue...

Either way, I'm back to the good ol' rock solid CF version of the SC. I missed it when I got rid of it for these newer versions, just so glad I am back. Issues I had with NDSMail (freezing on text entry) and other homebrew issues have just vanished by using the classic CF version. Best guess is that this is the basic device most all homebrew devs use (if not some other CF variant that uses the CF driver) so everything I throw at it just works. It's the cheapest of the SC line, but IMHO just the best in compatibility all around. Too bad they discontinued them (or so I heard?)

From xtreme on gbadev
Quote from: "Xtreme"It might be that the error message shows up for because SC is so slow.
Don't worry about the message if it disappears. If it stays, just follow the lines of it.

EDIT: Ok, I see the error message now. Actually that error should show up on all devices when starting and then it disappears. It's a normal behavior.

This is good news.
