First off hello all, very nice forum, highly informative, etc.

The issue I am having is that whenever I download the appropriate patching software the window is truncated, appearing to small for me to view all of the options/buttons necessary to add or delete roms.  I have attempted to download from multiple mirrors but the program always loads in this fashion.  Is there something obvious that I am missing?  Any help would be much appreciated.

Anyone know what I should do?  I downloaded this program from the supercard site, does the actual supercard come with the software, I just ordered mine a few days ago from winsunx along with a superkey, bought a 1gb ritek 150x mini sd and my DS Lite today.  I should be all set hardware wise correct?

Also... I downloaded a rather large torrent with quite a few nds roms on it but I have learned from my research that two files should be present, one being the game and the other being the save file, however all the zips within the torrent only contain the .nds file, do I still need to utilize the patching software if they are already in this format?  Where is the other file?  If I add the .nds file to my mini sd and not the other file (forget the file type) will this hinder performance or make the game unplayable, any insight would be much appreciated and I do apologize for the long post, however this should be forgiving seeing as how I am both anxious and a complete noob, newb, etc.

-Thanks

Yes, you need to patch commercial *.nds files with the supercard patcher software first.  The patcher software will output two files including the *.sav files.

For your other problem try un-installing the patcher software, then configure your Desktop settings (theme, fonts, etc.) to default XP configuration,  then re-install the patcher software.

Thank you for the info...I tried to reset to defaults after removing, did nothing for the problem.  This is very strange really scratching my head over it.  I used both the software found on the internet as well as the software that was packaged with the supercard.  I can add games to the list but I can not access the "Out" button which I need in order to send the games to my SD card.  Are there any other software packages I could use or is this the only one.  Any further help or insight would be much appreciated.

I'm convinced the patcher software is having issues with your Windows metrics, usually having something to do with fonts or accessibility features.  Try a standard 800x600 screen resolution.  Try running from a fresh user desktop.  You could run the patcher software inside virtual PC.  You can also directly edit the default settings for the patcher software using windows regedit.  Using regedit search for all occurrences of NDSPOSITION and NDSSAVER and set the values to 3 for SD position.
