This update to DSLinux will allow you to write to the SD card using an SC?  Hm, it's not working quite right for me :-\

What doesn't work?
First time when I saved something to SD I was so excited that I instantly turned my DS off. And file just disappeared. Next time I created and saved the same file and turned DS off using poweroff command and then everything was fine.
BTW does it work on SC mini too?

I have the SCSD mini and have renamed dslinux.ds.gba to dslinux.gba.nds in order to get it working.

I was able to load it up.  I read that you must create a 64k save file called
dslinux.ds.gba.sav, or in my case dslinux.gba.nds.sav.

where can I get this sav file?

I need help running games and the retawq broswer.   help?

I thought SD version of DSLinux doesn't use SRAM (I didn't use .sav file) for anything. And I didn't rename the file. I didn't do anything at all. :) It worked straight-from-the-box. And I think "linux" folder and the .nds file should be on the root of SD.

To start up a game or other program:
1. Log in (login: root, password: uClinux).
2. Type ls /bin.
3. Long list of programs will show up. You can find here some games and retawq.
4. Type name of a program from the list.

To use retawq, you have to connect to an access point or something, then type retawq.
For help about retawq controls take a look here:

My problem is that I can't connect to anything

I logged on using root and uClinux, then I typed

retawq www.google.com

Some red letters came up saying I had some connection problem

I tried the following two links on the nightly build site for my SCSD...

http://kineox.free.fr/DS/dslinux.ds.gba
http://kineox.free.fr/DS/dslinux-supercardsd.tgz

I first tried the stand-alone .ds.gba file (renaming it to .nds, first).  Then, I tried the .ds.nds file that came in that tarball (.tgz file) while copying the "linux" directory to my SD card's root directory.  Still, when I try to write to the SD card from the Linux command-line, I get an error.

echo "test" > my_test_file
cannot create!

Any ideas?
