Hello all,

I'm thinking of buying a GBA Micro to replace my 'phat' GBA, and I'm just looking to get some ideas on which flash cart I should buy.

Obviously, it'll need to be compatible with the Micro, have a high compatibility rate, support saves etc.  512Mb would probably be ok...

I already own an eCube, but tbh it's a pos (I've had nothing but problems since I bought it a few years back).  I've heard that the EFA carts are pretty good.

Anyone care to enlighten me?

cheers

I have a variety of GBA carts, and I can say I'm very happy with the EZ-flash III.  i have a 1Gb and a 2Gb version.. the only issue I have had was with the 2Gb cart.  With some earlier versions of the PC client, there were issues with the formatting of the 2Gb NAND memory, causing me to lose all data a couple of times.  But the latest software has been flawless.

its great value for money (on winsunx, anyway) and very compatible.  I use it on a micro.

Thanks for the heads up sneef.

Those EZ-Flash carts are pretty cheap - I'll maybe look into them.

'tis a little bit more difficult for me though, seeing as I live in the UK (sigh).  Do winsunx ship overseas?  Anyone had any problems with them?

ez-flash is for gba definetley the best. i recommened 512 mbit
orry for my bad English.

Well, I'll have a proper look into them, check the forums (etc). just to make sure there are no weird issues (like the eCube - bloody wish I did a little more research before buying that heap of crap!)

Hopefully I'll be able to find a reasonably priced UK distributor...if not, I guess I'll order from WINSUNX.  Is there anyone here from the UK that's ordered form them?  If so, how did it go?  Am I likely to get stung with duty/tax once it arrives?

cheers guys

I have an EZ Flash 3 1Gb and Ive had no problems with it. On a little side note the EZF3 has an extra 256Mbit on top of the reported size that works like a EZ2 256Mbit
ig removed, too big :'(

Looks like I'l  be buying an EZ-Flash 3 then!

Just need to decide which version to go for...I mean, I probably don't need  4GB of storage, but considering it's only $17 more than the 1GB version I think I'll go for it.
