Best Mini-SD card?, Which is the fastest?

I have a Sandisk 2GB Mini-SD but I notice some slowdown in Animal Crossing between going in and out of houses (i have the regular game and it doesn't do this). I also notice some slowdown in some games in the menus like in Metroid Prime Hunters. I don't notice much slowdown ingame but just when loading like in the begining of Animal Crossing it kinda stutters when going to start your save game. I only notice this in some games and not all. Does a faster Mini-SD help? Why does it only happen sometimes and in certain games? I was thinking of getting ATP Promax 2Gb 150X Mini-SD? Would that make a difference? The slowdown is much more noticable in GBA games like Mario and Grand Theft Auto when the screen is filled with ppl. What can I do to make my system the fastest it can be. Why is it more noticable in GBA games? I have a Passcard 3 and a Supercard Mini-SD which has been great so far! I AM NOT interested in the G6 as I know the memory rate is faster but 512mb is not enough memory for a flash device. If it were a gig of memory I'd be all over it but not for that money!

Thanks for the input,

Some GBA game will have slowdown with Supercard, no way around it.  It's a limitation of the SC hardware design.  The supercard team has released patches to fix some GBA issues.

As far as DS games Animal Crossing is known to have slowdown. Getting a faster miniSD might help with a few games, but not much.  The slowdown happens when the supercard needs to stream data from the miniSD into DS ram.  Most DS games work well when properly patched.

I use this list for best patcher software options . . .

Does SD speed matter? (same for miniSD)
