hey guys,
  i'm new to this (just bought a mini supercard + micro SD 1Gb for my kid sis). She wants to try out pokemon dash but i can't quite figure out how! I've got supercard software 2.44..
  i'm probably missing chunks.. apologies if this seems like a stupid post (i'm not very IT oriented!)
  what do i need to do to get it to work? and what's this firmware i keep seeing on this forum? do i need it? how do i get it?

You may find it works fine with newer software, try the 2.541 patcher software, vailable at this site. Make sure you get the one for SD not CF

Also check you're firmware is up to date, you can test this by running the supercard without the mem card in. Start up the DS and hold L+R, you will get info about you're supercard including firmware version. The latest version is 1.62. If you have to upgrade, double check you are updating with the SD version firmware.

isn't pokemon dash the only game not compatible?  or did they finally fix that?  anyway, they aren't missing much, i promise.

that game is currently working however the supercard team have updates the firmware in 2 months! so people are becoming very impatient about a new release (including me)

Pokemon dash works and also Ultimate Spiderman does too (at least the US version of Ultimate Spiderman does). It's just the compatabilty lists have not updated them.
