Do you think this is worth it?

It's the EZ-Flash IV mini, $25 USD off the regular price, bringing it all the way down to Supercard MiniSD's price.  I've got $100 to spare in my monthly budget, just wondering if I should get this or keep my hopes up for a Supercard Lite with *hopefully* a bit faster memory to play GBA at full speed.

Also I've heard that homebrew doesn't often work too well on EZ cards... any info on that?

Meh... it's obviously a very good deal but I'm not too happy about what I see going on with EZ flash... it's retarded to not just have games save when you.. uh, SAVE the game.  SC might have its problems, but I know it works.  I think I'll probably go for a SC miniSD if I can find a good deal.

Yeah, just like how the SC saves GBA saves without having to do anything special (sarcasm). SC also has poor GBA slowdown. While I own both the SC and the EZ4 Lite, performance on the EZ4 is superior.

I still love the SC, but your comment on the EZ4 functionality vs. the Supercard is a little silly.

actually, i kind of like the way EZ4 lite handles the save routines for DS.  It is kind of a pain, but for those rare occasions where I do something completely retarded (like turn off animal crossing without saving), I can still choose to skip saving to microSD.  But I do agree that for the most part, it's nice to have transparent saving.
