So do all backimg files need to be modified for the supercard filmplay application, or is this just a bug in the original skinning application (against later movie player builds)?

No, after of you have created backimg file with skinner, you must modify it with the hex editor. and follows the steps that I put above.

Si funciona pero pon el archivo BACKIMG en el directorio principal de la tarjeta CF, es decir que no este dentro de ninguna carpeta y pues ya te saldra el skin de windows XP.

Como diria Stupi-du "esta de locos" a ver si despues me das un tutorial ya que se ve interezante esto.....Desde que le cambie el firmware estoy como loco probando cada cosa que se me pone en frente (Y si es una chava mejor)hahahaha...
