I want to get my son a DS but I have read that the newer version of the DS have been "programmed" so that Passme wont work, is this true? I wanted to get him a blue one. If they are programmed in this way could we use WIFI to run the roms?

Good news I have a blue ds and have flashed the bios, works great. look on the bright side there will be a patch soon after the new ones are released

The blue ones work just fine. The red ones are the "defective" ones
