Hi guys, I bought a supercard and SD card for my DS lite on eBay. I recieved my SD card, and I'm waiting for the supercard. I know this sounds very stupid of me asking, but can anyone tell me what to do to put all the roms, movies, and music onto my SD card? Thanks a lot!

download an official supercard package that has the software needed to convert the roms and upgrade the supercard's own software. music, i suggest downloading DSorganize 2.25 blue. and as for the movies you'll need a GBA movie player.gba, get that from the offical supercard website, you'll also need the software to adjust your movie files to the proper format.

if you're not going to buy a superkey then then no need to download DSorganize, just use the GBA movie Player.

Moonshell (a homebrew, can be easily found on google) can play Movies, Music, Pictures, and E-Books. Go with that if you're looking for a multimedia experience, not DSOrganize (doesn't do vids).

Also, Moonshell is something called Homebrew, and should not need to be patched. It has a program that converts movies for you specifically for use with it. It's the best out there so far. There's a tutorial in this forum that tells how to set it up perfectly, just for you. http://scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5187 or you can download one of the already made packages.

Roms and GBA games DO need to be patched with the Supercard Converter software found in the download section. Some games need certain settings so if you have any trouble with a game, check the compatability Forum to see what it needs to work. Most common options are Trim, Faster Play, and Reset (Pressing L+R+A+B+X+Y will bring you back to Supercard main menu, not good idea for fighter games).

Also, make sure your supercard is updated by placing the update file (included with the converting software) onto the Supercard. When you run it, select the file with A and run the update. DO NOT turn the DS off or you'll have ruined it.

PS. Moonshell is a NDS homebrew and therefor your DS needs to be capable of running DS homebrew, meaning it either needs a Superkey (or something that does the same thing) or to be flashed.

hi, yeah i got the games on my supercard, but just so you know, my supercard is an sd mini supercard. What program do I need to use to play movies, music, and music? Moonshell only works with lite supercard or with superkey or superpass.

Moonshell works with all versions of Supercard. I use it with my SCCF, SCSD, and SC miniSD. It doesn't matter if you have a DS or DS Lite, or if your DS boots with Superkey or FlashMe. Make sure you are using the correct Supercard version.

thanks! I've tried really hard to find the moonshell program that works with my supercard, but I've had no progress. Can anyone please send me a link with a download for moonshell for the mini sd supercard? Thanks

I couldn't find a working link to the very latest version.  Here is a stable version (1.32) that works great . . .

MoonShell for SuperCard CF/SD/miniSD
(romman's Moonshell reset for SC.nds is included, launch it from within MoonShell to go back to the SC menu)

Just unzip the contents to your microSD. You can rename _BOOT_MP_SC.nds to Moonshell.nds if you like.

Once you run the setup,

First, put the file into your supercard, with the 'shell' folder at the root of the card (as in, just leave it where it is) and take the BOOT_MP whatever file and rename it (optional) and put it somewhere else (optional)

Once you boot the supercard, just select the BOOT_MP whatever file and there you go.

Thanks, I have the miniSD supercard, will Moonshell work without a superkey or pass or whatever? And I've tried putting in the _BOOT_MP.nds into my miniSD, but when I boot up my supercard, it can only read GBA files! Please help!

the whole point of the superkey is to use ds files.
