The noflasme works for a DS phat but for the Lite version it screws up everything. That is why I wouldn't put that one in... it is even more obvious you got a customized firmware if you can't open the options menu or the PictoChat.

on the contrary pte, it'd be less obvious because if nintendo is replacing your ds lite for a hinge crack, they're not likely going to turn the system on and check that pictochat works or use your system for ds download play...and they have no reason to be messing with your options. so if they're going to turn it on, i assume they're just going to check that it works.

Got myself a DS that looks brand spankin new. Absolutely no scrathes, no dead pixels, and works great!

You can do my phone, or by e-mail. Then its usually airmail.

If you happen to live in Toronto (Canada), there is a walk-in replacement centre in Scarborough, NASA. They never repair, and give you refurbs that are brand new.

I'm a frequent visitor there, as I have replaced 2 DS, and 1 Lite so far. I need to get my current Lite replaced AGAIN due to dead pixels, but they are out of replacement lites at the moment.

Gotta love the walk-in method, ensures that you always have a DS handy.
