Well, I just got my microSD (Sandisk Ultra II 1GB), formatted it FAT, put some games on it, and it worked great in my SCL+DSL.

The problem came when I took it out of the SCL (after shutting DSL down of course), put it back into the reader, and it didn't read! I tried it in 3 different computers, and on all of them it caused severe errors in the reader (drive letter appeared then disappeared in My Computer repeatedly). Then I tried reformatting it (dialog takes forever to appear, then I get format error). Finally I tried reformatting it in my digital camera, and it gave a card read error before even letting me into the menu system!

After each of these steps I redid everything with a normal SD card, just to verify there weren't any problems with the computer/reader/camera, and there were no problems.

Help! Did I just get a bad microSD card? I would understand better if it came like this in the mail, but it TOTALLY WORKED for awhile before going dead!!!

Thanks for your help in advance...

[EDIT 1]
Oh, the message it gives when I try to access the card through the computer is:

"The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error."

Hope this helps

Do you have a digital camera or something that you could try to re-format your SD with? I don't know if that will solve your problem but it's worth a shot. If that doesn't work you should still be able to get a replacement from Sandisk.
