If you walked into a room and saif that out loud to any of us, you'd be lucky to make it out with a single shred of dignity :P

In short, no, n64 isn't, and won't ever be possible on ds.

because of buttons issue + analog stick???

Thundrestrike

no, because to emulate a system, you must have a device that is more than double more powerful than the system being emulated

Even snes is troublesome to emulate on the DS, but luckily, we have very talented coders such as bubble2k, and gladius for that :)

N64: IMPOSSIBLE 8)

My modded DS

what are the specs of the DS?

N64 is:
CPU: 64-bit R4300i RISC (93.75MHz) / 64-bit data paths, registers with 5-stage pipelining
Co-processor: 64-bit RISC (62.5MHz)
RAM: 4MB (36Mb) upgradeable
Graphics: Pixel Drawing Processor (RDP) built into co-processor
Colors: 16.7 million (32,000 on screen)
Polygons: 150,000 per second
Resolution: 640x480 pixels
Sound: 16 to 24-channel 16-bit stereo (up to 100 PCM channels possible)

and i know that PSP has a 333mhz processor, so that explains why it can emulate N64.

Well, the PSP does a pretty good job of emulating the N64 with the Daedalus emulator.

The DS cannot as it’s basically a watered-down N64 and will never be able to run N64 games. Mario 64 DS had to be completely redone for the DS and it took almost as long to port it as most new games take to make.
