Is CT really working "almost perfect" for any of you? in here no matter if I use the sound or nosound version, the gfx are completely messed up and after that entry scene where you see all them ballons a messed up stripe apears onscreen and it stops there..., imho that's not "allmost perfect", a improvement nonetheless, it actually boots now at least heh.

edit: nvm, foir some reason after a while when I pressed A it moved on, was just text heh, anyway at this state it's not actually playable, but it indeed is running allmost perfect, they only have to sort out trhe graphics now.
SC CF + 1GB Kingston CF + flashed NDS = a whole lot of fun.

vlaflip: Yoshi's island uses a special ship called the "SA-1" that was 3 times as powerful as the main SNES motherboard. It is not emulated yet, and probably never will be on the DS, as the DS can barely handle what its got now. Other games are like Super mario RPG, Star ocean, kirby superstar, and others, also use the same chip.

er, onarum, something is going wrong for you.

CT is "not playable"? I beg to differ, I'm already past the future part in the game. It is very playable!

The graphics can be fixed by holding L+R+SELECT and press UP a few times until the graphics are sorted out. If text doesn't show, then keep doing the above, it will all show. For now, the sound is a little glitchy, but it still is okay. I advise the nosound version, though.

You are doing something terribly wrong. I can promise you this game is 100% playable, all the way through (except it crashes at 3 points so far, which he has already fixed but hasn't released yet)

Please try more! :)

what are the settings for chrono trigger for graphics?
i can either have all working graphics and no text, or have ok graphics with black spots and text....

(or is it not possible..)

and is QPC saving the only way?

also is there a key to make it a 1:1 ratio with the SNES game? cuz the screen is stretched out too much

Devil_Spawn

hey, i couldnt get QPC to work, i saved the sram to a file with the right name, but when i reboot the game, it doesnt load

Star Ocean gives a 0kb file. Well atleast mine does and the reason seems to be it doesn't have a header.

oh didn't knew about the L+R+SELECT thing, I'll probably wait till a possible 100% perfect CT experience anyway, sound is really important.

Is this the best snes emulator for the DS or is there another one with better compatibility?  I've seen a few around and was just curious.

tennisgy

It has best compatibility yes but the other ones can run games that this can not

I been playing SMW on SnezziDS 0.28 (settings 1 3 0 0 )  awesome, almost perfect with just the sound glitching every now and again.

I do notice that it only runs correctly in about 1 in 3 restarts (blank screen or  no sound), seems strange, but when in starts right it's really good.
Yes I'm mad
