I have a SCminiSD. I've been running Animal Crossing from the SC's ram. It runs well like this. But my kid's got the SCLite and it seems to run well for him direct from the microSD card. If I buy a SCLite, can I convert my save? Is it just a rename, or something more?

I understand you are running Animal Crossing from Supercard ram, but is the Saver patch set to SD card or DS card?  If it's set to SD card then there should be two files for each game on your Supercard miniSD, .dsi and .sav files. (note: windows might not show the .sav extension) The .sav files are interchangeable as long as the names match.  If you are saving to an actual DS card then you will need to use Rein to backup the EEPROM.
