Supercard Lite not saving GBA games

I'm sure this has been answered a couple of times already, but I can't seem to find any info on this...

Anyway, anytime I try to use the L + R + Start + A or B, the game card freezes, for both loading and saving.

The GBA game saves load at start up as usual, so that's probably not a save file problem.

Also, I tried these files using a SC mini SD card, and they work fine

Any help? I hope the SC card is not broken, I just started using it this week

Supercard saves DS games the normal way, like a real DS game cart.

I know and DS games work fine

The problem comes with GBA games

It's L+R+SELECT+B or A. Make sure you are using clean GBA roms. Make sure you enable the correct patcher options.

You're right, select, not start. But thaT's not the issue

Let me be more precise...

I own a Supercard Mini SD for months now. It always saved just fine, I never had any problems with it.

Then I decided to buy a SC lite.

I save all my save files from my Mini SD to my PC, (so as not to lose the progress I made in my games) and copy games using the supercard software to my Micro SD, instead of simply transfering the files from my Mini SD card to my Micro SD card. then I take the saved .sav files and copy them to the Micro SD card.

For example, I have a game of final Fantasy IV advance I started using the SC Mini SD, and I'm planning on continuing my game using the SC lite.

The games shows up, boots up and the game is resuming at the last check point. So far, I can only suppose that:

1) the rom works fine
2) the save file is clean, as it loads up upon startup of the game

Now, this is where things start to go bad:

-When I use L + R + select + A or B to save or load, I can choose between saving or loading, and then the saving/loading screen pops up, where it usually shows in % the saving or loading process.

Thing is, the % never comes up, the screen just freezes, and of course my game is not saved.

I've never transferred GBA games to Supercard Lite so I'm not sure I'm being helpful.  I'm going to ask few obvious questions so don't be offended.

- Are you sure you using the exact same patching options as before?
- Are you using the latest patcher software and Supercard Lite firmware?
- Are you patching the exact same GBA ROM's?
- Have you tried using the old patched ROMs on Supercard Lite?

I'm not sure about the patching options, I might check that one out.
